Why did you join the military? I joined the Military in 1994 because I wanted to be challenged!
Previous Sports: I played Football in High School.
How did you get started in cycling? In 2004 I was barely meeting the minimum standards of what the Marine Corps accepts for height/weight. I decided to get in shape. I lost more than 30 lbs in 12 weeks and then decided to help keep the weight off I would buy a bike. I started racing in 2006 and after 12 months of racing had the required points to upgrade to CAT 1.
Most memorable experience in cycling: I have two memorable moments in my short cycling career the 1st was when I won the Grand Prix of Silver Spring Pro/Elite race last year. This was my Teams Race and all of our sponsors were there! Another memorable moment was taking Former US National Criterium Champion Dave McCook to a photo finish at the Wilmington Grand Prix.
Most memorable experience in the military: My most memorable Military experience was my 3 ½ years of service in the White House.
