Army SSG Michael Gallagher 17th in Frankfurt Germany Cyclocross Race

Army SSG Michael Gallagher competed on his home turf and came away with a 17th place finish in the "Frankfurter Rad Cross", a UCI Category 2 cyclocross race and German National Cup Series event. This was Gallagher's final event in Europe prior to heading to Rhode Island for a weekend of preparation for the U.S. National Cyclocross Championships.

Gallagher summed up his effort, "I did well but the course was not really my style. I was in 13-14th for a while then the course just got the best of me. I lost the three-up sprint and came in 17th. The course was an absolute killer."
